Reviews

I don’t often come across books that grab me like Cinders Burn at Midnight did. From the first chapter, I found myself completely hooked. The characters feel so real, like you could walk into the story and sit down with them. It’s not just about the plot—it’s the way everything just clicks together ... (cont. slide 2)

Philip Avery and Rose Everhart are bound by fate, their connection undeniable, their souls intertwined by something deeper.

But destiny is never simple, fate can be cruel, and love isn’t always enough.

Torn between his pack and Rose—his trium perfectum, the one person meant to balance his magic, heart, and very being. Philip walks away when his alpha demands a choice—his pack or Rose—leaving behind the one person who truly saw him.

Even after heartbreak and separation, their souls refuse to sever.

Philip and Rose must decide: Can love survive the weight of regret? And is redemption possible when the person you hurt is the one you’ve always belonged to?

Review!

“I inhale. He exhales.”

The lyrical, whimsical feel of this author’s writing pulled me in from the first few lines. As the story progresses, the voice grows darker but still poetic. The characters are humorous and real. Max, Aiden, and Finn’s powerful emotions and visceral reactions pull me into their intriguing world. When Nicolas is brought into the tale, it takes on an intensity that ignites the imagination. Multiple first person POVs don’t always work, but in this case, they flow from one chapter to the next with ease. This novella is just a taste, but I’ll be reading more of Kara M. Zone’s work.
Chance I'll read more: super high; Relatable characters: so high; Spice factor: hints & mentions of spice.
