My name is Kara M. Zone, which you probably know if you're reading this on my blog, or even if you've signed up for my newsletter. Thank you for stopping by and thank you for signing up for my newsletter too!
This is the starting post for my blog/newsletter and while I have a thousand and one things I'd like to write about, I didn't actually think about where to start, so think of this as a palate cleanser.
A few things about myself:
I'm a writer.
I have two kids who are grown and out of the house.
I'm passionate about helping people survive then thrive in the publishing world.
I am just starting out on my personal writing journey.
Me and a small group of friends play DnD once a month, my son is our DM.
I have a dog, Ash.
I have a cat, Agador.
I also have a husband, a great group of friends, a good family, and more support I ever thought I would have.
I have CPTSD and a chronic pain disorder Fibromyalgia from a rocky childhood.
I went to college later in life, which gave me more confidence than I ever thought possible.
I saw and see a therapist because I believe therapy is a good way to heal oneself.
And one final one: I love cooking and baking competitions.
If you could have your female main character do one thing in her story, what would you have her do?

I'm writing a paranormal fantasy series. The first book is titled CINDERS BURN AT MIDNIGHT and it's out early 2025.
